Days of Thankfulness

The other day my daughter posted on FB a song Wake Me When September is Over. It's one I wasn't familiar with, but the overall sentiment in the title is one I can often relate to when the month rolls around. September holds many momentous events with varying emotions attached, some of joy and some of sorrow. However, in the end, there is much to be thankful for and given the opportunity to work on some thank you cards for the missionary closet at church has helped me to get past some of the usual moodiness of the past.

Today I'm going to post the first two I have ready to share and will add to in the coming days. Seeing as I'm doing multiples I wanted to keep it simple. Because missionaries are often sending cards via air mail, I wanted to keep the layering and bulk to a minimum, and keep postage costs from being excessive.
